Nizar al-Rifai

Nizar is the lead designer, head of operations, and the liaison for Ukraine operations at OffBeat Research. He is an independent conflict researcher and open-source researcher with a focus on graphical and visual tools for data analysis. His work has covered conflicts in Lebanon, Syria, and now Ukraine, where he currently lives.

Noor Nahas

Noor is a co-founder, editor, and researcher at OffBeat Research. He is a researcher focused on open-source investigation, social media, and finding new ways of tracking global changes in the world using basic and advanced open-source tools. Noor has previously written for Bellingcat, trained teams and professionals on using OSINT, and worked with researchers and journalists to track and investigate major leads around the world.

Dylan Burns

Dylan is an independent field correspondent at OffBeat Research. He is a war reporter and field correspondent who has covered frontline warfare, civil society, and the human costs of conflict in countries including the United States and Ukraine for OffBeat Research and independently for DylanBurnsTV on YouTube and Twitch.

Patrick Hilsman

Patrick is a research liaison and outreach coordinator at OffBeat Research. He is a long-time field reporter with years of experience covering conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, and other critical areas around the world, where he has reported for publications including Al Jazeera, Ha’aretz, and The Intercept.
